Summer vacations, closure of our workshops
The Manufacture workshops will be closed for annual vacations from the evening of July 26 to the morning of August 12, 2024, but our boutiques in Longwy, Metz and Nancy will remain open.
The Longwy store will be exceptionally closed:
Normal opening hours from Monday August 12.

Tokyo, Emaux de Longwy for Cartier with Laura Gonzales
Manufacture des Emaux de Longwy revives the tradition of decorative enamel frescoes.
For the occasion, Laura Gonzalez combines her free interpretation of wisteria flowers, a Cartier heritage, with the meticulous techniques of the Manufacture.
The result of this stylish collaboration are five exceptionally large panels, specially designed to enhance the Cartier Azabudai Hills boutique in Tokyo.
This exercise in style, unprecedented since the 20th century, is a further testament to the technical and stylistic challenges that are the DNA of Manufacture des Emaux de Longwy 1798.

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Normandy landings on June 6, 1944, Manufacture des Emaux de Longwy is pleased to present its "D-Day" collection egg.
This precious egg is adorned with the flags of the Allies whose troops took part in the Longest Day, together with the Norman oriflamme.
Limited to 200 pieces, this collector's item is available at throughout June at the exceptional price of 500 euros.
From July 1, the price will rise to 650 euros.

I LOVE PARIS, an exceptional edition by Khosravi for Longwy
After an initial stylistic uppercut with her " Nouveau Monde " piece, Guive Khosravi signs a new collaboration with Manufacture des Emaux de Longwy 1798, declaring her love for the City of Light.
" I Love Paris " is a masterful fresco of creative abundance, focusing on the resilience of France's capital.
One thing is certain with this extraordinary piece: "Paris will always be Paris".
Born in 1968 in Talence (France), nothing destined Guive KHOSRAVI to become an artist. After graduating from the Arts et Métiers school in Aix-en-Provence, he worked as an engineer for ten years, while taking drawing classes and successfully producing engravings and silkscreen prints.
In 2001, he moved to Vallauris, the city of ceramics. It was love at first sight, a burgeoning passion for this technique. A year later, Guive Khosravi was awarded the Silver Medal for "L'Oeil du Photographe" at the Vallauris International Ceramics Biennial.
Guive KHOSRAVI's art is that of a free man for whom anything seems possible. His creations possess a dreamlike depth that invites travel. It bears witness to a horror of emptiness and reveals an overflowing imagination.
His brightly colored works draw the eye in for endless detail, as a multitude of motifs coexist in perfectly organized anarchy... very "Street Art".

Léodie Maignant, a decorator in our workshops, imagined this design, which draws its inspiration from the rosettes that adorn our most beautiful monuments and which, in spring, let in the light of renewal and the awakening of nature.

The return of the Manufacture des Emaux de Longwy at Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche
The rebuilding of a brand and its repositioning are marked by milestones, more or less important, more or less symbolic!
The return of Manufacture des Emaux de Longwy 1798 to the BON MARCHÉ GROUP: Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche and La Grande Epicerie de Paris are part of this group.
It's a comeback, because throughout the Art Deco period, Manufacture Lorraine collaborated with the "Pomone" label of the most famous department store on the Left Bank.
The return of the Longwy teams is a testament to all their hard work and dedication to producing exceptional pieces.
This return to the Maison space for the holiday season is a step towards, we hope, a more permanent presence, and towards further commercial developments in France and abroad.
This return is already a magnificent showcase for the festive season.

Introductory workshops in marquetry, buffer varnishing, wood painting, gold leaf gilding and enameling are on offer to help you discover our exceptional skills and pass on our passion for arts and crafts.

Vale do Javari, coloring game summer 2023
It's summer, it's vacation,
so get out your crayons, markers and paintbrushes!
Until August 31, we're inviting you to color this screen (the black line used to make our glazes) from the Vale Do Javari collection by Cédric Peltier, and send us your creations via our contact form only.
The coloring pages received will be published in two categories: under 12s and over 12s.

The Grand Ducal couple in Longwy for a centenary celebration
The Grand Ducal couple were in Longwy on Sunday June 18 to celebrate the centenary of the acquisition of the current town hall in the enamel city, financed in the last century (1923) in part by Luxembourg and its Grand Duchess Charlotte with a donation of 500,000 francs, after the Hôtel de Ville, located in the upper town, had been destroyed during the Great War.
Prince Jacques de Bourbon Parme, nephew of Grand Duchess Charlotte de Luxembourg, was born in the former Hôtel des Récollets (now the town hall), the result of Count de Saintignon's plan to turn Longwy into a spa town around the Eau des Récollets, which was exploited from 1910 to the 1920s.
This building bears witness to Longwy's shared history with the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
On this occasion, Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa were presented with a re-edition of the original Grand Vase Duchesse Charlotte.
Manufacture des Emaux de Longwy 1798 x Bleuet de France
The revisited shape of the cornflower brings modernity and simplicity to the design to make the BLEUET DE FRANCE and the MANUFACTURE DES EMAUX DE LONGWY 1798 known to the greatest number.
Five creations result from this cooperation, part of the proceeds of which are donated to Bleuet de France for solidarity and remembrance actions towards past and present combatants, victims of war and acts of terrorism.

Morgane Chrétien, our studio manager, went deep into our archives to research Art Deco motifs, a great creative period for our house and one that was celebrated at many exhibitions this year. She adorned this wonderful prestige piece with stylized papyrus, symbols of life, joy and rebirth, to celebrate the renewal of spring.

Habitat X Emaux de Longwy
As part of its commitment to support French craftsmanship, Habitat, the home decoration chain, has chosen to collaborate with our Manufacture, a historic French company founded in 1798. From this collaboration was born a collection of unique pieces in glazed earthenware combining authenticity of know-how and contemporary design.
Each piece is the product of exchanges and joint work between our teams and the Habitat design studio.
Floriane, graphic designer, has imagined exclusive patterns handmade in our workshops.
