Guive Khosravi Born in 1968 in Talence (France), nothing destined Guive KHOSRAVI to become an artist. After graduating from the Arts et Métiers school in Aix en Provence, he worked as an engineer for ten years while taking drawing classes and successfully producing engravings and silk-screen prints. After reflection, he decided to devote himself entirely to Art, and moved to Vallauris, the city of ceramics, in 2001. It was love at first sight and a passion for this technique was born. One year later, Guive Khosravi received the Silver Medal for "L'Oeil du Photographe" at the Vallauris International Ceramic Biennial. Accustomed to using earthenware for his objects and sandstone for architecture, he was invited to the 18th Budapest symposium where he discovered porcelain in the Alfod factory. In 2006, he created for Villeroy and Boch, a hundred pieces, with the participation of the factory's technicians, before collaborating and developing, exclusively for STURIA, unique and numbered caviar sets. The art of Guive KHOSRAVI is that of a free man for whom everything seems possible. His creations have a dreamlike depth that invites you to travel. Mixing with happiness various influences, the "Khosravi" style was born! It shows a horror of emptiness, reveals an overflowing imagination. His brightly coloured works catch the eye, which endlessly details a multitude of motifs that are side by side in a perfectly organised anarchy... very "Street Art".
