In 2025, Art Deco celebrates its centenary, recalling the creative impetus born in the 1920s. This movement, which left its mark on architecture, design and the decorative arts, has a particular resonance in Longwy, thanks to the famous enamels and earthenware produced in the Lorraine town.
From the interwar period onwards, Longwy's workshops distinguished themselves with their geometric designs, bold colors and pure shapes, emblematic of the Art Deco aesthetic. Heir to know-how handed down since the 18th century, Manufacture de Longwy has succeeded in combining traditional craftsmanship with artistic modernity, creating pieces sought after the world over.
These creations, exhibited at major international shows and found in many interiors of the time, embody the alliance of luxury, innovation and heritage.
A century later, they retain all their brilliance and continue to seduce collectors, museums and lovers of the decorative arts.

Among the designers who passed through the Manufacture during this Art Deco period were Paul-Maurice Chevalier and his famous Jungle ball, which won a prize at the 1931 Exposition Coloniale, Curetti and his portraits of women and transatlantic liners, and S.Olesiewicz, known as Jean Olin, and his bathers.
Stéphane Gisclard's more contemporary but highly inspired works are models of the genre, influenced by Cubism, from which Art Deco borrowed many elements.
For his Lemuriforme installation around an Art Deco dining room set, artist Pierre Marie, in collaboration with Manufactures EMBLEM (to which Manufacture des Emaux de Longwy belongs), has created designs based on 1930s shapes such as the toupie vase, the compotier, the calice vase, the soliflore or the boite feel, emblematic models of the historic earthenware factory.

The eagerly-awaited release of the film adapted from Saint-Exupéry's masterpiece, "The Little Prince", is an opportunity to rediscover the exclusive collection of decorative objects created by the Manufacture des Émaux de Longwy 1798, which illuminates the dreamer in all of us.
Combining tradition and imagination, this exceptional line explores the iconic motifs of the tale with an elegance that belongs only to Longwy. The Little Prince's tender silhouette, fragile roses and glittering stars blossom on hand-decorated earthenware pieces, sublimated by vibrant colors and fine gold contours.
Each creation is an ode to the expertise of the Lorraine factory, where cloisonné enamels are worked with infinite precision.
1. The Little Prince and the plane candle jar - Ø 10.5 x H 11.5 cm
2. The Little Prince and the Plane egg - Ø 8 x H 12 cm
3. The Little Prince and the Plane round box - Ø9 x H 4 cm
4. The Little Prince egg - Ø 8 x H 12 cm
5. The Little Prince kiosk - Ø 11 cm x H 16 cm
6. The Little Prince pocket - 16 x 16 x H 3 cm
7. The Little Prince and the fox ball - Ø 16 x H 18 cm
8. The Little Prince ball - Ø 16 x H 18 cm
Among the highlights of this collection are ball vases decorated with constellations reminiscent of the Little Prince's cosmic journey, an egg and a candle pot with fluid lines where the shimmering colors of dawn and dusk meet, and a series of poetic boxes that seem to invite meditation.
Lovers of design and literature will find in this collection everything that makes Émaux de Longwy so strong and modern: the harmony between innovation and heritage, but also a sensibility that touches the soul.
For, as Saint-Exupéry so aptly put it: "L'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux", and yet every object in this collection seems to whisper this lesson in our ears.
Available as a limited edition, this exclusive collection is a sublime way to prolong the magic of the film and bring a fragment of this poetic universe home.

The "Longwy mon amour" owl is a special edition from Manufacture des Emaux de Longwy to help it get through the difficult financial situation created by the various crises our company has experienced in recent years.
Our company, founded in 1798, whose expertise is part of France's Intangible Cultural Heritage and the pride of Lorraine, is going through a period of uncertainty.
For almost 10 years, you have been both witnesses and players in the creative revival of our products, in the incredible projects we have developed with renowned designers and the most prestigious luxury houses.
But despite all our efforts, crises, economic stagnation and international tensions are weakening our economic situation to the point of threatening our jobs.
To get us through this difficult period, we took our mascot under our wing and created the "Longwy Mon Amour" owl, produced in editions of 1,000.
Adorned in the famous Longwy blue, our owl offers you its heart...
By purchasing it for 150 euros for yourself or as a gift, and sharing it on social networks, you'll be helping us weather the storm.
You'll find it in our boutiques in Longwy, Metz and Nancy and on www.emauxdelongwy.com, just like our other collections, which you can receive before Christmas by placing an order between now and October 10 (excluding large orders).
On October 13 at 11:16 am, the 1000th Chouette Longwy mon amour was adopted. We would like to thank you for this outpouring of support, which is helping us to get through this delicate moment in our history.

Manufacture des Emaux de Longwy revives the tradition of decorative enamel frescoes.
For the occasion, Laura Gonzalez combines her free interpretation of wisteria flowers, a Cartier heritage, with the meticulous techniques of the Manufacture.
The result of this stylish collaboration are five exceptionally large panels, specially designed to enhance the Cartier Azabudai Hills boutique in Tokyo.
This exercise in style, unprecedented since the 20th century, is a further testament to the technical and stylistic challenges that are the DNA of Manufacture des Emaux de Longwy 1798.

After an initial stylistic uppercut with her " Nouveau Monde " piece, Guive Khosravi signs a new collaboration with Manufacture des Emaux de Longwy 1798, declaring her love for the City of Light.
" I Love Paris " is a masterful fresco of creative abundance, focusing on the resilience of France's capital.
One thing is certain with this extraordinary piece: "Paris will always be Paris".
Born in 1968 in Talence (France), nothing destined Guive KHOSRAVI to become an artist. After graduating from the Arts et Métiers school in Aix-en-Provence, he worked as an engineer for ten years, while taking drawing classes and successfully producing engravings and silkscreen prints.
In 2001, he moved to Vallauris, the city of ceramics. It was love at first sight, a burgeoning passion for this technique. A year later, Guive Khosravi was awarded the Silver Medal for "L'Oeil du Photographe" at the Vallauris International Ceramics Biennial.
Guive KHOSRAVI's art is that of a free man for whom anything seems possible. His creations possess a dreamlike depth that invites travel. It bears witness to a horror of emptiness and reveals an overflowing imagination.
His brightly colored works draw the eye in for endless detail, as a multitude of motifs coexist in perfectly organized anarchy... very "Street Art".

The rebuilding of a brand and its repositioning are marked by milestones, more or less important, more or less symbolic!
The return of Manufacture des Emaux de Longwy 1798 to the BON MARCHÉ GROUP: Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche and La Grande Epicerie de Paris are part of this group.
It's a comeback, because throughout the Art Deco period, Manufacture Lorraine collaborated with the "Pomone" label of the most famous department store on the Left Bank.
The return of the Longwy teams is a testament to all their hard work and dedication to producing exceptional pieces.
This return to the Maison space for the holiday season is a step towards, we hope, a more permanent presence, and towards further commercial developments in France and abroad.
This return is already a magnificent showcase for the festive season.

The Grand Ducal couple were in Longwy on Sunday June 18 to celebrate the centenary of the acquisition of the current town hall in the enamel city, financed in the last century (1923) in part by Luxembourg and its Grand Duchess Charlotte with a donation of 500,000 francs, after the Hôtel de Ville, located in the upper town, had been destroyed during the Great War.
Prince Jacques de Bourbon Parme, nephew of Grand Duchess Charlotte de Luxembourg, was born in the former Hôtel des Récollets (now the town hall), the result of Count de Saintignon's plan to turn Longwy into a spa town around the Eau des Récollets, which was exploited from 1910 to the 1920s.
This building bears witness to Longwy's shared history with the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
On this occasion, Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa were presented with a re-edition of the original Grand Vase Duchesse Charlotte.
