It's a comeback, because throughout the Art Deco period, Manufacture Lorraine collaborated with the "Pomone" label of the most famous department store on the Left Bank.
The return of the Longwy teams is a testament to all their hard work and dedication to producing exceptional pieces.
This return to the Maison space for the holiday season is a step towards, we hope, a more permanent presence, and towards further commercial developments in France and abroad.
This return is already a magnificent showcase for the festive season.

The Grand Ducal couple were in Longwy on Sunday June 18 to celebrate the centenary of the acquisition of the current town hall in the enamel city, financed in the last century (1923) in part by Luxembourg and its Grand Duchess Charlotte with a donation of 500,000 francs, after the Hôtel de Ville, located in the upper town, had been destroyed during the Great War.
Prince Jacques de Bourbon Parme, nephew of Grand Duchess Charlotte de Luxembourg, was born in the former Hôtel des Récollets (now the town hall), the result of Count de Saintignon's plan to turn Longwy into a spa town around the Eau des Récollets, which was exploited from 1910 to the 1920s.
This building bears witness to Longwy's shared history with the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
On this occasion, Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa were presented with a re-edition of the original Grand Vase Duchesse Charlotte.

Madame Rizzi was a decorator at the faience factory under Henri-Joseph d'Huart, she also created some models and trained Paul Mignon when he was young.
She is now 95 years old and has lived in Canada for 60 years.
It was important to her to come and visit us and to relive the memories of that time. Rolande is very happy to see that the Manufacture still exists, that the know-how is preserved, the evolution of the creations and the modernity of the pieces presented.
In keeping with its great tradition of producing exceptional pieces, our Manufacture is pleased to present its new Easter egg collection, limited to 200 pieces:
Morgane Chrétien, our studio manager, went deep into our archives to research Art Deco motifs, a great creative period for our house and one that was celebrated at many exhibitions this year. She adorned this wonderful prestige piece with stylized papyrus, symbols of life, joy and rebirth, to celebrate the renewal of spring.

A collector egg in support of Ukraine
in partnership with the Fondation de France
The Manufacture des Emaux de Longwy 1798 and all its staff have decided to show their solidarity with the Ukrainian people by doing what they know best: an enamel!
Faithful to its tradition, the company chose to make an egg, symbol of life and renewal, on which the gold and blue of the Ukrainian flag are displayed.
Made in Longwy and decorated by hand, this genuine collector's item is produced in a limited edition of only 300 pieces, at a price of 260 €.
The "Solidarity Ukraine" egg is on sale in the three shops in Longwy, Metz and Nancy and on www.emauxdelongwy.com
"Thanks to our partnership with the Fondation de France, we can be sure that the funds raised will be deployed to finance actions that are as close as possible to the needs of Ukrainians. A reporting system for the actions implemented will also be set up, with precise traceability of the funds paid out and the associations supported." Martin Pietri President of the Manufacture
All profits will be donated to the Fondation de France as part of the "Solidarité Ukraine" operation launched on 28 February. The Fondation de France's actions are based on two priorities: emergency aid (basic needs of the population) and longer-term support, in cooperation with European foundations, to accompany these populations over the long term.

Exhibition until February 26
Joyce Gallery - PARIS
Initiated by the French Cliché label, the "Lotus bleu" project presents three different stages in the creation of a work of art at our Manufacture: drawing on the raw material, reproduction by our craftsmen and enamel decoration.
The "La voie" vase will soon be followed by 2 other creations by Antoine Carbonne, reflecting on fluids and "paying homage to water, which has no memory", unlike porcelain, the clay that keeps track of the impulses and constraints received during shaping.
Antoine Carbonne painted his creation directly on our vase, an exercise that demands precision and concentration, as no mistake is allowed...
Once the decor has been painted by the artistour craftsmen trace the design on sheets of tracing paper. The outlines are then transposed onto silk paper, which in turn is transposed onto the cookie vase before the final enameling stage.

Nicolas Lequeux
new creations for the Manufacture
Following on from his Art Décool collection launched last year, Nicolas Lequeux has designed a series of graphic, colorful sellettes and dishes inspired by the ceramics of Mediterranean villa facades, in an asymmetrical version of Art Déco.
"AFTER ALL"
These hybrid objects are precious, mobile harnesses whose function depends on the user's imagination. At home, they can be used to place your bag next to your favorite armchair, or your coffee cup in front of your sofa.
Placed on a table or chest of drawers, they create height with a vase or sculpture on top. In a store window, they can be used to present a product elegantly on different levels. I designed these objects with a perennial aspect in mind. They will be passed on and their uses will evolve with time and their owners. Hence my proposals for multiple uses.
Nicolas Lequeux
Art Décool bowls
The geometric variations of the 12 cups evoke a naive sunset on the beaches of the South, or a big, abstract Pac-Man smile, a nod to the desire to smile indoors while wearing masks outdoors.
