Thérèse d'Encausse

Thérèse d'Encausse, a graduate of Esag - Met de Penninghen (1988) is a graphic designer by training. She works as an art director in major Parisian agencies. Very creative and gifted for colour, she is quickly attracted by the decorative arts and ancestral know-how. An encounter with Emaux de Longwy in 1997 allowed her to express her talent by creating decorations inspired by fauna and flora in the purest tradition of decorative arts. She creates with passion and plays with the palette of traditional colours, including Longwy blue, adorning her pieces with touches of gold like jewellery. Thérèse d'Encausse brilliantly signs collections for Longwy that are always seductive: Joie de Vivre, Folie Douce, Camélia, Eurasia, Thaïs, Rosita and Fleur Bleue.
At the same time, she creates paintings "fixed on glass" with gold leaf, scarves for Dior, creations for Lampes Bergers, a line of jewellery made of precious stones, but also greeting cards for the Louvre in order to renew her training as a graphic designer!
