We were probably too optimistic about the delivery times we announced, and we sincerely apologize for the unusual delays in delivering the rewards for your support of our company. Nevertheless, we have begun shipping, and everyone will receive their reward.
To give you more details, you should know that:
- We have more than 8,000 components to manufacture, whereas under normal circumstances we produce 20,000 parts per year. For this operation to have a multiplier effect, the key is for these components to be added to our normal production. Hence the challenge of completing all this manufacturing.
- To give you an idea, even the solid-colored and gold turtles require 4 firings and 7 to 8 production steps, and our manufacturing process is extremely labor-intensive.
- It's also important to continue production for all of our other customers.
As for the other products, we started with Jean-Charles de Castelbajac’s Longue Vie Longwy turtles and then moved on to the other lines.
We hired five people to ramp up production, but it also takes time to train them.
Deliveries are made every day. Important note: Before each shipment, you will receive a message from us to let you know. If you receive a message directly from the delivery company asking you to contact them to reschedule, it may be a scam attempt.
It will take a few more weeks to finish production, but you will all receive your rewards.
