Jean Boggio has an atypical career in jewellery. His universe is inspired by the tales and legends that enamelled his childhood, a baroque style where each creation resembles a little nursery rhyme. This jeweller from Lyon, a goldsmith by training, was only 18 years old when he signed his first pieces for Lapidus. When he opened his workshop in 1984, he began to create monumental rings like small mysterious universes which gradually led him to take an interest in the decorative arts. His childhood designs, revised and corrected as an adult, were soon noticed by the greatest names in the field, such as Baccarat, Chopard-vaisselle and Haviland. More recently, the brand Le Bourget asked him to design a range of tights, a novelty that he had a lot of fun creating, using "Le chat botté" and "Le lièvre et la tortue" as themes.
