Passionate about jewellery and fashion, Nicolas De Waël has always drawn and imagined. Trained at the Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Bijouterie and in styling at the Atelier Fleuri Delaporte in Paris, he assisted Alexis Lahellec in the creation of jewellery. In 1995, the meeting with Fondica allowed him to create his first objects and lighting. Since then, he has designed collections of objects for various publishers. Thinking, dreaming, telling stories: his creations reflect his imagination. Capturing the wind, a colour, the essence of a flower... sublimating these small things, these poems of the world. Each piece refers to a happy moment in a personal story. 2006 saw the birth of her eponymous jewellery collections. To find out more about the artist: www.nicolasdewael.com
