In 1992, Marielle Sertelet was the very first artist to join the Manufacture des Emaux de Longwy as a stylist. She stayed there for five years. The faience factory owes her the collections Diane, Saisons, Bagatelle, Marine, Nomenclature and Multan. She shows a great mastery of drawing, line, choice of subjects, she brings resolutely contemporary decorations and tonic colours.
Each creation of this energetic young woman was a success, and she quickly concentrated in her hands all the activities of the faience factory: creation, supervision of the execution, development of new processes, creation of moulds for new shapes, jewellery, etc. (Book Les Emaux à Longwy - Philippe Olland - Documentary sources: Michèle Kostka)
