Françoise Pétrovitch

Since the 1990s, Françoise Pétrovitch has been developing a practice that navigates from sculpture to installation, from painting to ink washes. She stages a panorama of characters who evolve in a colorful, lush universe, a fairy tale where something disturbing, sometimes disconcerting, almost disturbing, emerges.
Françoise Pétrovitch has been the subject of numerous solo exhibitions in France and abroad. In 2018, she is the first contemporary artist to have a solo exhibition at the Louvre-Lens, and will soon be exhibited at the Bibliothèque Nationale de France - BnF (Paris) and at the Villa Savoye (Poissy).
Her works have been included in some of the most important public and private collections throughout the world.
